Training for: Lawrence 1/2 Marathon
Planned: 10 miles at 7:10 – 7:20 pace
Actual: 10.35 miles in 01:15:00. 7:14 pace.
I started out a bit slow, my shins were a bit tender. Around mile 2 they loosened up and I was able to get a good pace going. Mile 7 is where I faced the wind. It was a painful last three miles with the wind at 15 MPH gusting up to 22.
This was kinda steep route as well. I’ll have to remember that for the future. Here is the elevation chart:
